The very heady “Wine Kiss”

As promised to Jess, my description of a wine kiss. Looks like it's becoming a me-me.

The basic idea is to pass wine or any drink to your lover through a kiss. It's a pretty delicate trick and some finesse is required, so I would say it's a pretty advanced one. You need to know how to french! And perfect passing solid treats like the candy, grape, berry or chocolate kiss first. The receiver should be a fairly good kisser too.

I'll write this from the guy to girl perspective, but it can work both ways.

Now, how do I write this without making it sound like a technical manual… hahaha.

Sip some wine, and hold it in your mouth. Enough that you can roll your tongue in the wine in your mouth. Too much and you or her might choke. Start with less if you have doubts.

Start with a simple closed mouth, lip to lip kiss, lead your partner into a french kiss, all the while maintaining a good seal between your lips so you don't spill the wine. At the start of the french, let some wine trickle from your mouth to hers. Once she gets the idea, she'll help maintain the kiss and seal. Then you can go into a full blown french kiss and play with the wine. Or let her, especially a less experienced kisser, take the wine and end the kiss.

If you don't know what I'm talking about above, you're not ready. Go practice your frenching and food kisses.

The trick is tongue control to control the flow of the wine. Finesse is need to control the kiss, because she may ideas of her own.

Your partner may draw away in surprise, so hold her behind the neck, or hold her head gently when you kiss her, so you can control her withdrawal. Be firm but gentle if she tries to pull back. Don't stop her completely, follow thru with her but keep the kiss going. Then do one of two things, depending on her reaction. If she tries to close her mouth and end the kiss, then end it by closing your mouth and keeping the wine to yourself. If she recovers from the surprise and plays along… well, keep going.

From here, she might hold the wine and you guys can continue to pass it back and forth. She might swallow and keep kissing. Or swallow and end the kiss.

A medium or strong bodied red wine will make for a nice heady kiss. Imagine the feeling that you get from the strong alcohol ladened bouquet coursing through your nasal passages… now add to that the heady feelings of a passionate french kiss, and the taste of wine on each others lips and tongues. And you're already teensy weensy bit tipsy from the first half of the bottle. High yet?
